That’s legit the only deal in town.
Kyrie just legit killed the Celtics deal cause why send the house for ad when Kyrie ain’t resiging.
No other team gonna send anything for him with him saying the lakers are the only place he wanna be.
Now let it play out til the summer and when there is no leverage from any other team watch the lakers take some pieces away from the deal cause they know he not going anywhere else.

Lakers deal can't ever come off the table this season if they want to get AD; if they pivot to another max FA this summer then they have no space to sign him in 2020, which means Rich Paul's "He won't extend anywhere but LA" gambit is dead in the water and teams can trade for AD knowing they have a good shot of getting him for the long term. And since no FA this summer is anywhere near as valuable as AD at only 25 years old and no one's guaranteed to come to LA anyway, the Lakers aren't going to give up on getting him. So calm down breh, our management is handling this as well as any franchise that's gone through a similar situation. There's no sense in rushing to take a bunch of scrubs who struggle to 30 wins in the West and 1 pick that'll undoubtedly in the late 20s in a panic now when you can wait till the summer, still have that offer as a last ditch fallback, and potentially come up with real young studs like Tatum, real valuable picks like the Grizzlies and Kings picks, and a chance of getting the best prospect since AD in Zion outta all this BS. These things take time.
