ITS BEEN A FEW YEARS. I WAS TOLD TO FLASH MY FORD BADGE DEARBORN COPS GO AWAY. THE LAST TIME I GOT PULLED OVER I PUT LICENSE IN THE POUCH WITH MY FORD ID. HE LOOKED AT MY BADGE AND TOLD ME TO HAVE A NICE NIGHT.

So youre going to keep it in the clear case anyway, risk being pulled over again by the cop who wants to kill you, because you want to keep the plate in the case?
I avoid doing anything that gives them a legit reason to pull me over. If I have to take that 3 extra minutes to make the legal turn, I'm doing it. I'm not running red lights at 2am. I'm wearing my seatbelt. I'm stopping at all stop signs. I don't blast my music. I don't draw attention to myself. I don't speed. If a tail light is out, I get it fixed. And if I get a ticket, I pay it online when I get home, so I don't get arrested for an outstanding ticket the next time I get pulled over. If they tell me the licesne plate needs to be presented in a certain way, I'm changing it as soon as I get home, because I want to avoid interacting with the police.

got stopped for pulling out of a parking spot on the street without signaling and also cause one of my tail lights was out.
dude was a complete dikkhead. I asked why am I getting stopped and he was like LICENSE AND REGISTRATION NOW.
so i’m like ok and give him my shyt and he’s like have you been pulled over before and i’m like no. and he’s like ok so next time be more respectful and don’t ask why i’m pulling you over first of all and next time take your keys out and put them on the dash. there’s no need to be rude and disrespectful. dude gave me my stuff back and walked away after all that.
dude let me go only because I gave him my work ID with my license and we help out cops all the time. I usually drive pretty decent so they don’t usually bother me but that “have you ever been stopped before?” and the stop being disrespectful rubbed me the wrong way.

Never and I hope it stays that way. I thought that I always had to do the speed limit. That changed when I started working in Miami. I'm still somewhat of a timid driver though.
I think some of the cops down here aren't as strict unless you're doing over 100.
