Yeah. I go to school with a girl that's a waitress and she said she gets paid close to nothing and tips help her out a lot so I always leave extra.

If its a black waitress, I leave some on the table and slip the rest in her hand.

Because they split the tips at the end of the night with the whole staff. So if you leave $10, she is only seeing $2.
