I think the main problem with a women's tag division right now is that NXT is the only brand that could accommodate it. There's ~30 women down there compared to the main roster, which has 14 or so split between two rosters. So even you get the division over down in Full Sail, you end having to keep them down there a while until the main rosters grow, or split them up upon call up.Yeah, count me too as big fan of the Iconic Duo, a lot of potential there. While I don't necessarily believe in a women's tag division at the moment, I wouldn't let that get in the way of them being tag team champions. . . . . . .bro.
When they hit the main roster Billie Kay and Peyton Royce will easily surpass LayCool

Yeah I can't begin to predict where women's wrestling will be in a decade and how big of a roster WWE will accommodate. As things look right now I'd like to see the 14 women consolidated into one division, maybe with a secondary title where women's wrestling could evolve into it's own show/brand down the line to include tag wrestling. Another part of me thinks WWE should leave the bulk of women's wrestling to promotions like Shimmer instead of gobbling up all the talent. But who knows what their longterm plan is.

I think one of the things we'll really see change if/when Trips and Steph take over is women's wrestling having more promenience on the main roster. You look at NXT, and it's clear Trips and his people value the women more than Vince and the guys on main. The NXT women's title is treated with much more prestige and reverence than either main roster belt. Not to mention the Mae Young Classic, which was likely Trips' brainchild.
If a tag division did happen in the near future, I could see them making it a specialty division on either Raw or Smackdown ala the Crusierweights. Maybe not with their show, but give them a segment or so on either main show. You wouldn't even need a lot of teams, and some of the participants can be people who are already there.

Peyton mentions that their parents got divorced and she went to live with her mom and her brother went to live with her dad, so she didn't see her brother much after that, mainly just in school.
Peyton also says that she moved around a lot with her mom and she kept doing that when she was by herself, saying that she moved 3 times since she got hired to NXT, but now she lives in a house instead of an apartment, which apparently is gonna be a more permanent thing.
Peyton also mentions being bullied because of her love of wrestling and because she had crooked teeth.
Peyton mentions that she was trained by Lance Storm in Canada and that he helped her get the try out. During that time she lost her job and couldn't afford the bills, so her brother sent her money to help her, which brought them closer together again.
When she was in Australia she got the information about a try out in Melbourne, she was working 3 jobs at the time besides wrestling and she had a broken wrist, which was going to take 6 weeks to heal but she only had a month before the try out. One of her jobs was at a gym, so she asked her boss to help her train the lower body, while, at the same time, she was training with Billie.
They both did the try out and Billie told her "We are getting signed together"
This interview was recorded on Saturday during Axxess, after Peyton found out she was going to be in the Womens Battle Royal. After the interview, there is a little bit more audio recorded during Mania. here Lilian finds out that they just were told that they were getting called up to SD.
