Some people just can't let stuff go :francis:
Tiger is the kind of person to take stuff to heart :mjcry:
Jeter and :mjpls: don't give a damn and they just let stuff roll off their shoulders.
Everybody's not the same :francis:

Michael Jordan, who saw a pattern repeating from his own past. Years before, he'd lost his father, and in his grief, he sought solace doing something his dad loved, quitting the Bulls and riding minor league buses for the Birmingham Barons. "It could be his way of playing baseball," Jordan would say years later. "Soothing his father's interest."

:wowwow2::wow:

I am legit touched by this brehs.:mjcry:

Even after his father's dead, he was still trying to make his dad proud.

Yeah I remember after his father died, he was like fukk it, I have only one life, I can do whatever I want to do.

I really don't wanna be an attention whore but I can attest this is true based on my own experience. A few years after my dad's death, I still try to emulate him the same Jordan describes in this piece. It's an incredibly powerful drive. I feel like I have a duty to keep his legacy going by doing the things he loved to do. I realize a lot of my hobbies/past-times are reflections of things he used to do. I still believe in the conspiracy theory regarding Jordan doing it as a forced leave of absence for gambling violations, but I understand why he would do the baseball thing for his dad.

Amazing write-up.

He should quit golf. It's clear he only played golf for his father's happiness/approval and the social acceptance that came with it. Unfortunately, golf can't provide the path to either of those anymore.

Even if he came back and became moderately successful, the media question wouldn't be "can he chase Nicklaus?" but it'll turn to "I wonder when he'll falloff again?" and it'll send him into another spin cycle he clearly can't handle on his own. It'll accelerate the current breakdown in his back/knees and push him into the limelight where he clearly isn't comfortable.

He needs to just really find out who the real Tiger Woods is and continue being a great dad. It seems like he's lived his life for others with all the parameters built for him ... but he didn't necessarily want it, he was just great at the path his dad gave him and his success (money and fame) pushed all his faults to the wayside.

But now all of that is gone and it's just him standing in a mirror looking at himself.

If he just wants to be a suburban dad, hang out with his kids, play video games, etc. ... honestly, he should do just that.

That was a great article. Since it was ESPN, I had the :beli:face but it was fair to Tiger.

Michael Jordan's plane is detailed in North Carolina blue, and his tail number is N236MJ -- the "6" is for his titles. :mjdrinking:

Docking in private marinas in the Bahamas that can't be found on the map. :wow:

His friend telling him "He will be never alone again". :mjcry:

What's missed in this is how Ellen is the hustler of the decade. I'd be filthy rich if I had a bottom bytch with that dedication to her craft

She took 7 years to get her degree in Psychology. For what? :childplease:

bytch already got a PhD in gold digging.

I would not pat for the seals either. All his life, he's expected to pick up the tab. Be a man and pay for your own shyt.

Exactly. They spent most of the article talking about how unimpressed they were of him as a "man", but they themselves wanna turn into kids out for some evening Steak N Shake when it's time to pay a bill.:camby:if the hoes he was fukking could only get a $5 Subway sandwich outta him, what made these clowns think he was about to break bread over them???

I don't understand why so many of y'all run with this fatherless gimmick. It says so much more about y'all than the people y'all think y'all are dissing. I don't know how any black person can post shyt like this.
