i was expecting to hear an album full of Pop Hop but when i pressed play and this was the first joint on the tape i was like

Yea, I know them kinda personally so, I was there through the process. I was there when they were sitting on the porch writing some of those rhymes. Keep in mind OPP was quite the party starter in 91, it really wasn't seen as a pop song per se, it just happened to cross over to the other side. It was a really infectious hit and maybe still a top 10 party joint. But yea, Yoke the Joker might still be my favorite Naughty track.
