feeling slighted OP didn't namecheck me in original post, love MJ. how the fukk have i not heard these versions before?!! MJ with adlibs for DAYYYYSSSSSSSSSS. got me listening to the extended version of PYT now

anyway, i digress. what @murksiderock said was spot on, nothing to add. but listening to the older generation makes you realise that's the last era of real rnb/soul we'll ever get. no cursing or nothing. lyrics, the music, the adlibs, just timeless shyt

vulgarity in rnb has genuinely killed off its longevity appeal
