When I first heard the beat on Recipe I was like ":wow: Dre finally got one" only to find out he didn't produce shyt

When they say Dre "mixed" the track you know he done a lot more than that, even Khalil said that after Dre touched Kush it sounded 10x better. In my opinion he's purposefully taking a step back because he knows his music gets overly critiqued, this way the music can shine for what it is. What was the last Scoop beat that sounded that clean prior to "The Recipe"? "I wanna Rock"? shyt Dre happened to mix that too...

That doesn't make Dre any less of a hip hop legend you idiot. The stuff that he put out before pretty much secures his hip hop legacy in any case.

Never said it made him less of a legend but people talk about best producers right now today and I've heard Dre's name mentioned.

It's like cause he was once great he has to forever be in a top 5 which as far as all time that's fine but if we're talking today in 2012 he ain't even on the list

He produced Imagine for Snoop, right? Also, Lost One for Hov? Those are the last two I remember that were really dope.

You know Dre has a million of these bangers in his vault but his too scared to have his shyt out in the public to be judged. Stat Quo talked about that a few years ago, saying how Jimmy Iovine told Dre he and his team were like the Patriots if Tom Brady decided to only play in practice on Saturday, not in the real game on Sunday.
