8th grade when I thought about my pops. It was an emotion I had to get out to move on and not use him as an excuse for why I’m not shyt. The longer you hold it in those tears, the worser it builds up.

Nobody truly cares about our emotions. Only time I’ve seen it be acceptable is if a parent or child dies. Outside of that, our emotions are either used to make others feel better about themselves, or to push a narrative. Tyrese was on camera crying about his daughter and now it’s a meme.
