last time I squared up technically was in '06 against a coworker...no blows were thrown tho and I was held back

I wasn’t teaching @ the time...took a break from it and was working a half ass job less than a 5 minute drive away...my shift would be from 3-7AM or til 11AM if not enough ppl were there

young brother there I was cool w/...shooting the shyt I found out his ride was in the shop and he took the bus there...so I offered to pick him up early since he wasn’t too far away from the job and I always got there early w/ time to spare since it was so close...my only stipulation just be out there @ 2:50 so I’m not late...I figure it’s a younger dude tryna work and do the right thing...why not help him out

so I go to pick breh up one morning (no issues before) but he’s not out there this time...I wait about 5 minutes and eventually beep the horn...dude comes out and I’m thinking ok he’s pushing it but we can still get to work on time...this nikka tells me not to blow the horn cuz his mom sleeping and goes back inside...so I left this nikka cuz that shyt pissed me the fukk off

he shows up to work an hour late...so he comes toward my work area where ppl have to check in and I ask him what happened...dude responds “fukk you” and I lost it immediately and cussed him out...but it’s just words @ that point...but he keeps walking by me and grilling me and him saying “fukk you” still had me tight so I talk shyt again...he starts out to rush me and I square up solid...I think he knew from my stance he figured he’d be in for a fight so he stops and squares up too but he doesn’t move an inch...I’m not moving either but we both cursing/talking shyt...he starts to move in again and I’m ready to fight @ this point but someone grabs me while this dude is still fukking charging...so I elbow whoever’s on me and square up again but ppl got in between us @ that point

so no win or loss but that was the last time I squared up...I was 31...dude was maybe about 22...I was taller than him but skinny...dude was stout...dunno how the fight would’ve ended but in all I’m glad cats intervened before it could’ve gotten ugly...dude quit after that...I made sure to watch my back when I came to work after that since it was always dark out...but nothing happened after that little incident

About 2 years ago. Dude tried to push-up on my wife when she was coming home. She told him to kick rocks. He called her a bytch while I was standing there on the porch. I stepped to him and found he was just some High School kid along with his friends and told him to apologize as she was old enough to be his mother. He started talking MAD trash. I stole on him and dotted his eye while his mouth was open about to say something else. One of his boys tried to get a couple shots in. I caught him in a wristlock and dragged him down the sidewalk screaming in pain for help that wasn't coming. Found out later that I'd dislocated his shoulder.

Their parents filed assault charges and tried to sue for medical expenses, but since my neighbors had video footage of the whole thing, the judge threw the case, and the parents, out.
