From my personal experience, Hispanics have the closest families by far followed by Africans/Haitians and Indians :ehh: then would be Whites/Asians/AAs/Native Americans

I don’t agree with the order of your list but that’s from your personal experience so I can’t change that. I have two cousins who don’t talk to their parents and I’ve told them, what they’re doing is some white people shyt. That’s just my opinion. The reasons would have to be extreme to not fukk with your parents at all like that.

My Jewish homie from there used to have a tense relationship with his folks when we were kids. Fast forward today and they’re so close it’s crazy. His parents made the effort to become better parents and he made the effort to be a better son. Putting in effort and not being driven by ego goes a long way in relationships

For some people, there was no affection growing up. Zero. That’s not comparable to situations where families go through shyt but balance it out with love. Some people have parents who have been dikkheads to them as long as they can remember with no positive memories to balance it out and they have trauma from that shyt. So the way they view their parents is diffrrent then the way you view yours. Some people look at their parents and associate them with nothing but negativity. I think not talking to your parents at all (cutting them out all together) is extreme barring severe cases but if you’re not close you’re not close, it’s the parents job to initially build that bond with affection and respect. If they do that, then it is the kids job to pull their own weight with reciprocity and obedience. Every relationship in life between humans has to be 2 sided.

MY FAMILY IS CRAZY CLOSE, ITS ACTUALLY ANNOYING AT TIMES ... EVEN MY EXTENDED FAMILY. THEY HAVE OCCASIONS EVERY OTHER WEEK AND ACT OFFENDED IF I DONT SHOW UP. I MEAN, ITS COOL N ALL, BUT A YOUNG JEW NEED HIS SPACE SOMETIME, U FEEL ME?

Talked to mom a couple days ago and gonna see her later. Talked to my dad a few days ago but haven't seen him (in person at least) in 4 years. I'll see him again when he comes up for my graduation. Ever since moving down there he took on that mentality like the rest of my fam down there (on both sides), that since they in Florida and the weather's nice, that I gotta bring my ass down there if they wanna see me.

My dad was a gun running, dope smuggling, scam artist criminal. I still help him with his cases. He did that to try and give me a better life. Still love him. He annoys me. But still do.
