I got 3.5% for the last 2 years.
All of you complaining about your raises, alot of companies have flat merit increases 0% due to the economy. Those that do give raises have a budget of around 3%.
Now most companies hand out raises based on your individual performance. So...if your company's merit budget was 3 or 4% and you only got a 1% raise, that means some high achiever in your group/department got a 6% raise.
You government workers don't have a leg to stand on, yall raises aren't performance based.
