I got 3.5% for the last 2 years.

All of you complaining about your raises, alot of companies have flat merit increases 0% due to the economy. Those that do give raises have a budget of around 3%.

Now most companies hand out raises based on your individual performance. So...if your company's merit budget was 3 or 4% and you only got a 1% raise, that means some high achiever in your group/department got a 6% raise.


You government workers don't have a leg to stand on, yall raises aren't performance based.

I actually took a paycut of 21k, for a better job and less stress.

Before that I went from making 62k to 99k, so dropping back down the 85k wasn't a big deal. I'm still in the same house and car that I was in when I was making 62k.

Seriously?! I know just who this probably happened to in my dept. then. Makes sense that my boss always on that "don't tell what you got" bullshyt cuz the muhfukka is lying saying we can only make but like 2% right now.

Oh, and thats actually a 16% base Salary raise for me. ($65k -$75k). Commission didn't change, just the base salary bump.
