When will Black People realize Rap Music and Single Parent homes are DETRIMENTAL to our Community?

I debate with my Wife from time to time. At the end of the day, sex equals babies. If we as humans can have sex but no chance of pregnancy, there would be no children in the world.

How do you go about knowingly bring children into this world? We have two and want to smack ourselves.

I'm in favor of the government paying for it. One thing that can be done to cover those concerns is having the patients store eggs/sperm prior to the procedures so they can still procreate by alternative means if the procedures can't be reversed.

Rappers and celebrities have more influence over these kids from single parent homes than their parents do.

These single mothers can't raise these b*stards correctly in most cases. Hell 2 parents catch a lot of hell with some of these kids. You actually need both parents, uncles, aunts and the whole village on the same page like back in the day. Most criminals and degenerates come from single parent homes. A kid needs both parents. Just because you're mother raised you alone and you're decent doesn't mean it's a good ideas. Most people come out screwed up from single homes. These b*stards are terrorizing the communities. So many young women are so confrontational and right to start a fight and are loud as hell. Just unpleasant to be around. No home training is what they use to call it. Then you have these out of control boys, ready to shoot, emotions just like their single mothers.

These kids worship, idolize and imitate these rappers and celebrities.

Poverty is detrimental. Not rap. Loads of middle class black, asian, and white young people listen to gangsta rap, trap music, and drill music, but each face no negative consequences whatsoever. So i dont think rap is the issue.

It may even be similar to the "videogames cause gun viloence" arguement, where problematic people are drawn to violent videogames, but violent videogames do not create problematic people. Rap is similar to videogames where 99% of users/listeners never commit a crime. Itd be more helpful to use other metrics that are are stronger correlated to crime.




But I do agree with you on single parent homes. No kids before marriage used to be the blueprint back in the day. But those days are gone. you cant really change this without neutering young black people en masse which is an obvious non-starter. Wagging fingers at young people wont fix a thing, cause young people dont respect old people and old black people are too poor to punish young black people for disrespect. For example, i went to college with Asian kids that werre scared to death of defying their families cause their inheritences would get cut if they bucked their folks. The burden ultimately falls on the participant that would be the caretaker of said child.. And 99.x% of the time its the mother. Men have accountability as well, but obviously they're not being responsible.. So in my mind, a woman should take it upon her self to ensure she doesn't get pregnant to the best of her abilities..
