When will China flex it's military outside of it's borders?

on sheer numbers alone, China's military is nothing to scoff at.
their equipped with knockoffs of US & Russian gear from guns
all the way up to stealth aircraft. their navy is straight up wack.
i think they almost have an aircraft carrier? :heh:
what is China doing? they want to control the South China Sea
and their solution is to build islands off shore from the mainland
in order to claim the waters around them?

:dead:

bruh...and now all those islands are sinking?

:deadrose:

you gotta army, betta bring the navy.

yo, but peep this, China is investing heavy in Pakistan's seaports
for commerce. if they were smart they would build them with a dual
purpose in mind...naval bases. but nope, they just gonna use it as a
good old fashion global bazar.

at this point China has painted itself into a corner. if they really start
building up a navy that would allow them to impose their will throughout
Southeast Asia, everyone would see it coming a mile away and trigger
reactions that China don't want.

who remembers when China hit it's own weather satellite with a missile,
scattering space trash orbiting the planet?
China smashed that shyt after everyone told them not to and hit em with the:youngsabo:

everyone else was like "yo, did you really have to do that?" :dahell:

China: "now you know we can take out a satellite" :birdman:

as if the US couldn't...:childplease:

Obviously they have a large army but as you said, their training and equipment is suspect. That being said they can take Taiwan whenever they want. I’d imagine they have a specific date in mind, sometime within the decade . It’ll basically be a home game for them and nigh impossible to stop despite their middling military. I do think they’ll suffer more casualties than they think though.

They will not attempt to take Taiwan unless US Military power is severely crippled.

it doesn't matter how "weak" you think their military is. There's 1.5 billion people in China and they control the world's economy. They'd kick anybody's ass including the US's and that's why our govt is subservient to them and don't want any smoke no matter how much shyt our politicians talk.

China doesn't have the training, doctrine, or infrastructure to prosecute anything outside of a land war within its own theater.

The best way (imo) to fight China is an extended naval embargo through the pacific on the East and and ground embargo on the west. It would a year but China would have no way to break it and would cripple economically. China's economy is the second largest but still relies on world trade to work. The only thing keeping its people docile is the economy. Once that cripples they will have internal fires to put out as well.

It will take a minimum of 30 years in naval development and a massive collapse in American prestige for China to be a world military power. China's current status is solely based on economics.

Close thread. They would literally have to develop those capabilities in order to conduct those types of operations.

China would get clapped in any military conflict. They have been in or won any wars since war has been mechanized. They’ll leverage their economic weight to get their above all else.

Besides, they too have to toe the line. You wouldn’t want a bunch of military trained, financially independent, politically influential people walking around that are potentially not on code. Ever move China has made has been calculated to the T, they won’t risk their progress on wager or crumbling from the inside.
