The problem is...even though Kanye is insane (in a good way, in my opinion), he's a more creative artist than Jay. Kanye can make good songs in his sleep, a skill Jay seems to have lost. Jay-Z's enemies in the past were never of Kanye's stature. Nas was always a legend, but always seemed a little less visible, whereas people like Beanie Sigel were just ants. Kanye has a hand in the fashion/art world, is a commercial success, is seen as a more exciting and unpredictable figure, has proven he can bounce back strong from being widely hated without giving a f*ck, etc. Kanye would be his most formidable adversary yet, though he could never pen an "Ether".
