why should he signed a max deal

just keep signing 1 year deals with a player option to hold these owners hostage... get 40 million next year with a option if he want for another 40.. you never know how the nba economics could change each year
It's smart to sign a max with a player option, you can opt out any time you want but still have the security if something crazy happens. A one year deal is absolutely foolish in a sport that guarantees every dollar. Not that he's starving for money, just saying

Thats not how max deals work :Baldsmh1:

Its usually a 5 year contract with an option for the 5th year

At somepoint he should get into a contract. These two year deals can backfire once he loses his step. No guaranteed money at that point.

If he takes a 5 year 200 now he will be set going into 38 years old. Father time will catch up.

Better than him doing a two year next year at 34 and he loses his step by 35.
He doesn't need the money. His Nike deal is better than any NBA contract ever will be.

Lebron knows exactly what he's doing, we don't. And we don't know better either. None of us has his business acumen, success, experience, or team to say he doing anything wrong. He's Lebron brehs.:hubie:
