When will Nintendo fans finally admit that things won't change?

I don't get this obsession with third party games for Nintendo. It's really mind boggling to me. Nintendo is in a different market and don't need madden, 2k or cod. They just need to have a steady release of first party games instead of far apart like the wii u. It seems like the 3ds got a lot of games so I don't know if they focused their resources on that and cut back on the wii u, but the new Zelda game looks promising and makes me believe they will get it right with the NX.

I always said that the wii u is what the wii should've been and NX is the console to take a big leap for them.
Nintendo has never had a steady stream of first-party titles, it's always been slow trickle. Been that way since the N64, 3-4 big titles per year. The market is over it. The overwhelming majority of AAA titles now are third-party. Nintendo's only hope of getting back it's share of the permanent consumer base is releasing a console where you can have Mario and COD...cause if players have to pick, they're going to pick COD.

Nintendo has money for decades. If the keep the same strategy, they'll still have money...for decades.

I bet Nintendo will be around long after Sony (who doesn't have money for decades) and Microsoft (who've been making mistakes with their consoles) leave the market and focus solely on software.

My fictional grandkids will probably be playing on a Nintendo Console in 30 years. I dunno if they'll be playing a PS10 or X8 in 30 years though...:francis:

They might be playing games off their Apple or Google phone that's wirelessly hooked up to their 12K TV though. :manny:

The gaming world is moving toward more and more cheap mobile games. I think our phones will be the future "consoles." PC gaming might be the thing too, they way things are going...

Oh yeah, and standalone VR too:obama:

It's time for them to go third-party on console.

Instead of death by a thousand cuts, just go ahead and commit seppuku and experience rebirth as a third-party powerhouse. Maintain the handheld hardware division, supplementing it with the occasional iOS/mobile companion app.

Why would they go third party when they sell a shyt ton of 1st party games and get to keep 100% of the revenue, a cut of the 3rd party titles, and 100% of the hardware revenue?

People have been saying Nintendo should go 3rd party since I was a kid. It's not happening breh. Not to mention they're sitting on 10 billion in cash.

Is Nintendo doomed? Not likely. Just take a look at how much money it's got in the bank

Besides, why would I want there to only be 2 console manufacturers :dahell:?

That's not a good thing. The Wii was terrible, easily the worst major console I ever played on. I never got comfortable with the Wii mote and was a chore to play through those great galaxy games.

It was great for Nintendo though. One of the best selling consoles of all time.

The NX will fail.

The handheld market is dead

Do you nikkas even look shyt up before you post :dahell:?

Let me guess, smartphone games are gonna put it out of business :francis:

I seriously don't know how this can be said out of jest. Nintendo's been in trouble since they didn't want to put a CD in the Nintendo 64, truth be told. Wii U failed miserably and the Gamecube failed miserably. Wii... all know how that went.

They have long money, sure. They don't have money to survive NX failing; this we can at least agree, I think?

Nah, I think their good if it fails too, though they're telling forecasters that they're expecting bigger profits. They've been losing profits year after year, but they still have a ton of money.

They're also in the mobile sphere now. If they play their cards right, they could make big bucks there and rely on that if the NX sales aren't as expected.

If the NX delivers on 80% of it's promises, Nintendo will be back to where it used to be (or close to it). Nintendo is a 100 year old company that is stubborn as hell.
What are their promises?

The 8-4 and fiery moats
Nintendo ain't changing much for the NX. It will still be a gimmick system. These dudes are just going for a different gimmick this time around. I copped the Wii U soley for Smash. I will cop Bayonetta 2 soon, but there's really nothing else that I see purchasing in the near future. Especially with them jumping ship onto a new console. I was gonna cop Zelda, but them nikkas was like "NOPE :troll:...it's on the NX now". I don't even think their next Mario would be dope. Which brings up another point. How you not even gonna strive to create a new Mario game for the Wii U? I'm not talking about that Mario Bros bs they had around launch. They can keep on pushing their first party games, but it's not gonna bring anything new to the table. It's straight up lazy. The new Star Fox is a good example. I haven't played it, but it looks exactly the same the N64 one with better graphics. That's not a good thing. Sure the N64 was dope, but that was almost 2 decades ago. They should've built a new one from the ground up that can cater to their current hardware. I guess they didn't wanna take the chance cuz they sort of tried that in the past with other Star Fox failures. I would like to see them make a brand new F-Zero or new Metroid, but deep down it will just be some shyt that's just there. Nothing new, but nothing garbage either. Them dudes just wanna make comfortable shyt that's gimmicky enough to say it's something new. It works for some of their fan base, but some of that fan base is growing up and copping a PS4 or Xbox One now for the more mature and interesting titles. That game plan ain't gonna stay afloat.

I don't regret copping the Wii U cuz I knew what to expect. They did throw a curve ball at me with this NX stuff, but it's whatever. It's gonna take a whole lot for them nikkas to get me again. They're not gonna make a new Smash anytime soon, so there's most of my incentive right there. The idea that there gonna make some amazing games with there first party stuff seems very unlikely. They'll try, but I just feel like it ain't gonna work.

Nintendo should just stick to handheld devices in their next go around. That garbage controller that might be legit is not too far off from being one on it's own. Them dudes JUST couldn't help themselves with that BS. The nerve :scust:

:pacspit: Nintendo. Prove me wrong fukkers and then you might have my money again :mjcry:

Imagine if Zelda, Metroid and em became third party titles tho :wow:

I purchased the wii and the wii-u for my kids.
the wii-u gamepad was a dope innovative idea.
but I just couldn't see myself spending more money on another
Nintendo Console when I feel like I never really got my moneys worth
out of the wii-u. and I'm sure it's a whole bunch of parents that feels like me
I'm pretty sure we're their primary consumers right now
