When will the hip hop community stop being entertained by the death and shooting of black men?

A lot of these brothers are hypocrites and want to have it both ways.

Want to cry about Black men not being able to be vulnerable and cry about how no one cares about Black men and boys but can't be bothered to stop listening to music that continually cheapens the value of Black life. Can't even be bothered to do something as small as stop calling other Black men "nikka". And brothers in here got the damn nerve to shift the blame to Black women.

This shyt beyond disgusting at this point

Plenty of classics since then that ain't on some bullshyt.

Madvillainy came out in 2004.

This is some real dusty shyt lmfao

Yikes
You missing out on some good music

Every time y'all post Chief Keef or Waka Flocka Flame or Migos or Future and I try to listen to it

It sounds wack to me. And I go back to the classics.

Kanye hasn't made anything that have wanted to hear twice since Gold Digger.. Which I wouldn't want to hear at all now.

I didn't choose this. So called Rap chose this by becoming.wack

I literally grew up diggin in my parents crates of records finding songs and artists I like. And I did the same with my older brothers CD collection. Believe me there's a lot of artists and songs that get put on this forum (the booth). I just sift through it, find what I like, disregard the rest.

Like you I tend to stick to the classics, but once I find an artist who's work I like I tend to ride them out. I've never fallen for the one hit wonders and one and done album makers. But there's good shyt out there. There's some shyt I'll play in the gym I wouldn't elsewhere.

You missing out on so many classic non-mainstream rap albums.

:yeshrug:Who knows. There will probably be another push for swag, weirdo, normal guy rappers with street rappers being deemphasized and then fully taking back over like how it happened this time.

This Drill shyt gonna have a vice grip hold on the mindstate of the Black youth until 2035. Just like how gangsta rap had a vice grip from 1988 to 2004, same shyt.
