More damaging as well according to the CBO report. :usure:

I think its a trade off most business's would gladly make, and one that benefit the AA community tremendously. We just need articulate(and charismatic) people in congress willing to openly advocate it.
That said, we really need to rethink public sector unions... IMHO the are hurting more than helping.
What exactly are public sector unions doing that are hurting people

Instead of advocating a race to the bottom, we should be advocating for all people to have the same rights as the union members

the picture

I'd like to see in what context it was made.7

EDIT:
Timeline Photos | Facebook

I see now, :heh: You're so biased towards a political ideology that you handpick pics from a libertarian facebook page

:why:

I asked...
When will the left throw min wage in the bushes, and focus on collective bargaining and stronger safety nets? :wow:
What ideology exactly am i being biased towards?:sas1:

Stonger safety nets + removal of the min wage+ I posted support for guaranteed min income.
I'd like to hear the specific ideology I am pandering to or against.:sas2:

This is a topic for another thread, which i'll start later this week, but basically I think anytime you are dealing with guaranteed money and monopolies the rules must be different. I'll elaborate in the thread I make.

IGNORE THE HISTORICALLY UNIQUE NATURE OF SWITZERLAND, BREHS!
It isnt so much about switzerland as it is about abandoning the ever increasing min wage, and adopting stronger safety nets and collective bargaining.
Switzerland is just an example.
Ironically the feedback would be "are there any examples/evidence of this working" if there was no reference to one :yeshrug:
It is what it is.

:mjlol: I just ran some data..... Im not even gonna post it tonight. U already took enough Ls today :ahh:
:whoa: I said challenge accepted, not i am right, :usure: whether the data shows a "strong"(:mjpls:) correlation or not remains to be seen.

For some reason, you constantly take my opinion or questioning,(which I clearly state is my opinion), as an assertion of an objective truth :patrice: Not sure what to make of it...

That said if you have th data, post it, i'm not hung up on being right.:manny: If the data shows little correlation than I'll accept it.
:sas1:Something tells me you will not be posting these findings though.

raising the minimum wage is the largest collective bargain possible
yup
they want a place where they can fudge the numbers
a minimum wage is clear and hard to confound or obfuscate
but safety nets...bargaining agreements...in America...with our current lobbied congressional system?:mjlol:

I tell you what dead7, you go first! get Congress to enact safety nets and bargaining agreements that are as adequate, clear and ironclad as the people need and then we can get rid of the wage protection.

Breh breh breh. You title the thread "when will the left throw min wage in the bushes", then post a chart showing a correlation between min wage and unemployment without question or critique. How is that NOT an assertion that minimum wage has a negative effect on unemployment? If that's not what you meant by it what did you mean? :leostare:

In reality, there is ZERO correlation. I pulled MW and UE data from Wikipedia and Trading Economics..... here's what I found

Now here's the part where you say "this is exactly what I wanted, I wanted someone to pull the data together for me" :skip:

:ohhh:Now explain why we can't(any nation not just America) make min wage $500/hr if there is "no correlation" as you state. :ld:
From what I found economist were split on the issue.
