I think its a trade off most business's would gladly make, and one that benefit the AA community tremendously. We just need articulate(and charismatic) people in congress willing to openly advocate it.
That said, we really need to rethink public sector unions... IMHO the are hurting more than helping.

That said if you have th data, post it, i'm not hung up on being right. If the data shows little correlation than I'll accept it.

but safety nets...bargaining agreements...in America...with our current lobbied congressional system?

I tell you what dead7, you go first! get Congress to enact safety nets and bargaining agreements that are as adequate, clear and ironclad as the people need and then we can get rid of the wage protection.
