Invisible Man
The Real Huey
According to Edge Magazine, which contains some of the most in-depth and unbiased gaming reviews out there, while Killzone Shadow Fall and Infamous Second Son are great graphical showpieces that show what the PS4 is capable of from a technical standpoint, they are far from being genuinely great games, due to a considerable amount of flaws and compromises in gameplay areas that don't scream "next gen".
Below, I've linked Edge's reviews for both games so those who are still on the fence about picking up a PS4 anytime soon can make an informed decision without any biased opinions - particularly from PS4 owners - influencing it.
Killzone: Shadow Fall review | Edge Online
Infamous: Second Son review | Edge Online
For those too lazy to read, and who just want to see the numbers, here they are:
Killzone Shadow Fall - 6/10
Infamous Second Son - 7/10
I highly advise reading the reviews though, even if you happen to love said games, as the flaws you may have not noticed will become clear as day to you.
I really want the PS4 to do well, but it's off to a slower start than even the PS3 had, and I was one of those gamers who bought that 60GB backwards compatible fat PS3 model in 2006, so I know exactly what it's like. Turned out to be a great investment in the long run, but let's hope PS4 owners can say the same thing about their console a few years from now.
