Exactly I'm reading this thread like :skip: I've read enough articles about baseball to know that a Cuban player should know World Series hero Luis Gonzalez :usure: the guy is Cuban American. These guys remember any little known player who might of been in the MLB for a day and shyt . I doubt they don't know the guy who ended the Yankees dynastyy
Sez who.. Gonzo was only an elite player for a few years but he's no household name that's easily recognizable especially out of uniform and without a ballcap on. He is Cuban but he was born in Tampa Florida. I don't know about Cuban television but was the world series even shown in Cuba at that time? Do they even show MLB games at all on Cuban television? Is there some sort of video or pictures showing Cubans in Havana or the like celebrating the fact that Luis got the winning hit against the Yanks in the series? Were there Luis Gonzales tee shirts floating around Cuba when Gonzo was a star. We all know about Sammy Sosa's popularity in the Dominican Republic but how do we know for sure that Puig knew who Luis Gonzalez is?

It has already begun :scusthov:

One of them had the nerve to say, even though he came second to DiMaggio debut, 'let's see how the kid career pans out' :mjpls:

But really......let's see how it pans out. His stats right now are comparable to Jeff Francoeur's stats after this many games played.

:whoo:

They don't show baseball games in cuba as far as I know :yeshrug:
What was his excuse once he Introduced himself to puig to not at least be civil ? Maybe puig doesn't know him by face or say he doesn't know him .... And he's acted up in other instances too so I can't believe it's some mistake . Maybe he'll learn

Now reports are saying Gonzo took offense cause Puig didn't know who he was:wtb:

Gonzo is no household name player dog. especially in a country that doesn't even show MLB games on television
