Dancing that shyt will get you bytches

Well, I personally think Bachata was much better in the mid-to-late 90s.
Once Aventura came around in the early 2000s,it started going downhill.
I like some Aventura songs, but they really are the ones that made it annoying and soft. Then girls started getting on acts like Prince Royce.
I do agree that I don't like spanish remixes of famous english songs.
I guess it depends.
In the 90s you really had Antony Santos, Luis Vargas and Raulin Rodriguez killing it.
And I guess to a degree Teodoro, Frank Reyes and Kiko Rodriguez. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of them.
Then it started getting a bit softer with Joe Veras, Yoskar Sarante, Zacarias Ferreira...then it got really soft with that Aventura and Prince Royce stuff. This new bachata damn near makes you wanna cut your wrist.
I don't listen to as much spanish music as I used to.
When I'm feeling really hickish, I'll throw on some old Tatico Henriquez tho (1970s). That's straight "campo" music tho, lol.
Or Luis Segura/Leonardo Paniagua.
As far as reggaeton and dembow...I never got into that stuff.
That music, to me, really does sound the same. I could go with some Don Omar because he was unique in a way. Maybe early Tego Calderon. But that's about it.
I listen mostly to alternative rock and hip hop...but not much of the new stuff.
I guess they are making more money today. How did Bachata go downhill when Aventura was taking over, Bachata had to be making the most money at that time
I guess they are making more money today.
I don't know.
I say downhill because the music isn't very good these days.
But maybe that's just me.
I owe that nikka a neg , let me go handle that![]()
