The drill scene started behind beefs between the different element schools the kids went to.. Mollison Elementary being the one O block kids went to for example. Then Rahm Emmanuel closed some schools and pilled the beefing kids into the same schools.

Chief Keef was a 16 year old kid who was rapping about his living conditions and life circumstances he did nothing wrong.

When Rahm Emmanuel closed those schools and made beefing kids go to school together, this was the immediate results. This was 13 years ago. Right when drill started.

I'd blame Dr. Dre before I blame Chief Keef, young dude was a victim of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, South Side marginalism and capitalism.
"Don't Like" dropped when he was like 17. I don't expect dude to wanna "heal the people" when that's not what he saw and grew up with.
What about all that music in between him and Dr Dre? Did that have no influence on him? It's not like gangsta rap and drill were back to back.

It's the social media aspect of things. Chicago's been Chicago forever. If there was social media in the 80-90 to document life in the inner cities, I guarantee you the problems we have today would of been hella worst.
You gotta stop letting white people and nerds make things bigger than it is.
There's nothing more anti-black than a minstrel song. Anti-black messages in hip hop are cause and effect. You'll meet black people caused havoc and try and stop the youth from making the same mistake.
Minstrel songs are just from pure hatred, you'll never find a white person who apologizes for making any of their songs.
