I'm reading how Plax is shocked nobody had called him up. He was never the fastest WR and he about to turn 35. Unless you are a HOF legend and will sell tickets like a Jerry Rice or a freak of nature like a Randy Moss you're done. It's supply/demand.
Basically. Randy Moss is the only 35 year old receiver that's going to get phone calls from teams. Once a receiver loses the ability to create separation from even average to below average corners YOU ARE DONE. His play on the Giants when he was in his prime was overrated anyway ( Eli doesn't get enough credit for making Plax), sure he won a Superbowl, probably would have won another if not for his incident since he was a big factor with that receiving core, but individually dude was nothing special. It hilarious to me that every season some player has reality come crashing down on them like this.
Burress best bet is a receiver gets injured (which is damn likely this season) or there's a rookie quarterback that needs an experienced receiver as a safety valve. But then there's the whole bad teammate label following him so teams might be turned off by that especially if he doesn't get the playing time he feels he needs.
Burress needs to look around at all the other out of work receivers that actually still have some talent and check his ego
