When you are sad...how do you handle things

I get into my books.
Or play music...for hours.
Or sleep.
Or go on walks. There's this trail behind my house that is beautiful and quiet, especially now that it's autumn.

Depends on the sadness...music, a movie, a long walk, a good book, but I'd say what almost ALWAYS works for me is getting out of the house and going to buy a book, see an exhibition, meet some people...I have a tendency to bask in my sadness but when I manage to talk about whatever with someone most of the times you realize you can still function and so stuff.

Im kinda of robotic in this sense. Seen some tramatic things and kinda been on my own since a young age, not really young but young for this generation (19) so i really didnt have much time to mop around with feelings.
