Are we talking about weekdays or weekends because if it's a weekday I could understand you usually don't expect it to get out of hand and really don't expect to see to many chicks so if you do you can be off your game you just trying to catch up and relax with some friends and beers.

But if it's the weekend then yeah that sucks going to a bar with friends who are not on the same page as you is you might as well have gone by yourself because you'll ended up wandering around solo anyway.
