Yeah man I work for a leading technology company and the ignorance of people astounds me. I legit had to walk this lady through on how to find the power button on her tv. Wrestling fans have been stupid for ages though.Ha ha I know from experience selling DTV back in the day that this same shyt happens with spanish people too
Old hispanic people that dont know shyt about technology asking me if I could go to their house cause they can't see the power button Im talking about
I'm not in that group b/c I understand the slowness of fans. But I'm still amazed at the lack of confusion.
I can just picture some backwoods fan calling Direct TV (or comcast, etc) like:
*phone ringing*
Fan: Hello? Hello? Somebody there?
DTV: Thank you for calling Direct TV, how may I help you?
Fan: yeah...uhhh, I'm callin to figger out uhhh, what chaynel is that dubbya dubbya f network?
DTV: I think you mean WWE.....and I'm sorry sir, but we don't have a WWE network channel in our channel lineup.

When it was first mentioned I didn't know whether it would be online only or a tv network. Though it was cleared up for me, I imagine others would have that question. Especially more casual fans and the less technologically inclined. Some people have poor/unstable/non-existent internet connections, so they don't even look into these types of options. Upgrade their service, bam, exploring options. Not that surprising.
