Your team is stacked at the shooting guard position, which is the same position you play. The problem is, your dumb ass coach is super loyal to upperclassmen. He decides to redshirt you, and he threatens that you won't get any playing time if you don't agree.

Yall lose 3 straight and at the next practice, your are KILLING the players you were redshirted for.

At the end of the practice, you look towards your coach and

Most recruits are smart enough not to commit somewhere if the school is stacked at the position they play, especially in basketball where it's very easy to see where you would stand.

In football redshirting can be helpful since you have to stay 3 years anyway and most kids need a year to build up their strength and get used to the college level.

in footbal these recruits are still dumb. them pete carroll teams at usc would recruit like 2 five star running backs a year and shyt. Staffon Johnson, marc Tyler, Joe McKnight...etc all in the gutter now
