Given that I go back and forth to the UK on a regular basis, I know for one that shrimp is known as prawn, so that might make the majority of UK brehs think " fukk is a shrimp breh?"

Ok but I doubt if you ask for that down here they'd act clueless like they have no idea what that is.
You had no idea what kung pap shrimp is when that's typical chinese food no matter where u are.

My go to dishes are :

Singapore Mei Fun - Mei Fun are thin, rice noodles. Singapore style is my fave because it has extra spices and ingrediants (A lot of places hit you up with beef, chicken, and pork). Other styles are good as well though.

Sesame Chicken - This is pretty similar to General Tsos chicken, except it's *supposed* to be made with honey and taste a bit sweeter. I notice that a lot of the cheap American take out places make these dishes pretty similar, you may not even be able to tell the difference if you're eating side-by-side.

Egg Foo Young - Been having this a lot recently. It's basically a Chinese Omelette. You can usually get it with pork, etc in it. Served over white rice...this might be my favorite drunk food.
