Yeah i'm finding this out the hard way. I'm normally the type to give the shirt off my back but i'm starting to question that part of my personality. The reciprocation doesn't add up.

I am naturally a giving person, and there are always people willing to take and then get ghost. I has it's good and bad parts just be very selective. I had to catch myself so I wouldn't turn into a bitter person. So I am more selective, and I don't expect anything in return. I don't listen to promises, I expect to have to help myself. In the end I am better and happier for it. I also believe in Karma.

Growing up, which I won't go into a long long story. I learned to basically to do stuff myself, not that I don't trust people entirely, but I come to expect that not everyone will come to your aid everytime. When the parents had to work late early in my life, I learn to cook for myself and do my laundry. I do admit at times I can seem cold and callous to people who NEED help, just because when I was in my shoes I had to do it on my own. Although taken away the downside of that, I basically taught myself how to do stuff, which makes me proud in a sort of way. Still though it wasn't the best route.
