It depends whose listed. If I see nothing but Jay-Z, Nas, 2Pac, Eminem in every list I start to feel like come on fam what's YOUR opinion. I don't need you to tell me what the general public opinion is, I heard that list a million times.

it's your top 10, that means your taste and what you actually listen to

people look at top 10's done by magazines and websites and think they have to give these wack 80's artists props just cuz of their historical significance, like your own top 10 has to make every rap fan happy

nah fukk that Young Thug is way closer to my top 10 than a fukking :krs: or Rakim, matter fact he's on it right now
