I was single for 1.5 years before I met my current man. The ex had a gf for quite a bit of that time. I honestly just hoped that she could make him happy (and by things he told me when they were first together... ). F'd up.

I think that's another one of the many reasons my last relationship failed. I don't know if you remember the rest. Neither of us were jealous AT ALL. Looking back, I think it was because I started to see him as a friend (for many reasons, the layers of that 'ship). We were both able to talk after (haven't in about 6 months )

But you're right, I'm very happy, hopefully he is too.
