For those who hate vegetables or salads, just dump a bunch of leafy greens and other veggies in a nutribullet, add frozen fruits to mask the taste, water and then chug.

First thing in the morning I have a green smoothie with chopped raw garlic and ginger. Then I’ll have another with only veggies in the afternoon.

Ever since I started doing that, my energy levels, mood and libido has gone thru the roof.

I started calorie counting like 10 years ago and have maintained good shape. I found at the time I was consuming like 800 to 1000 of calories a day on liquids alone. Once I went water only is actually easy as hell to still eat like shyt and not get fat.

It's an addiction, when you eat healthy long enough you start to prefer it

Also, eating healthy doesn't have to be boring, y'all make that shyt boring

Throw in some fruits and you can season and sauce your healthy foods

Some healthy foods are actually tasty as fukk, like putting salt and pepper on a freshly cut avacado is top tier

Grapes, oranges, watermelon, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, steak, chicken..

You gotta learn how to improvise and appreciate the energy boost you get from the healthy food too

I think it comes down how you were raised

I was raised on home cooked food and never fast food, besides Chinese takeout on few occasions

To this day I cook my own food, I got so used to it that I don't even have a desire for takeout

It also helps if you workout, then you need to watch your diet and you can't just splurge on fast-food

I eat white rice and other carbs. Less processed food. shyt isn't that complicated. Find a happy medium. I don't over do it with the "healthy" options either. Eat based on activities.

I'm down to one major meal a day on average, two at most in 2022. Healthy snacking is ok between meals. To be honest I'd forget to eat if I didn't have to. Red meat is not consumed often and my digestive system is very happy about that. Great feedback.

Where It’s Not Safe
Or you can eat a clean diet that’s tasty & varied. Try the Medditterranean diet. I also do a lot of Indian, West African, & Middle Eastern dishes since a lot are veggie heavy but still tasty.

I can’t eat like a bird, I’ma grown man.

It also might help that I only eat once a day. Consider that.

A large swath of the population, men and women alike, don't truly know how to cook. It's why a lot think very binary when it comes to food.

You could make a fire thai inspired salad with chicken. It hits all the macros and actually tastes delicious.

Chopped Thai-Inspired Chicken Salad

For breakfast you could do a sweet potato/sausage hash with peppers on the onion. If you want, you could add an egg on top and toss it in the oven. Season it well. Filling, healthy and tasty.

If you like pasta, you could look into chickpea pasta or other non wheat options. Texture is a bit diff but nothing serious. But the benefits are much higher protein and fiber content as well as a bit less carbs. There are a lot of low carb options out there with pasta too, though.

I don't even red meat or chicken anymore, just fish. But there are so many amazing options regardless. Especially if you still consume meat, you can be healthy and tasty. I used to make a ground beef Bulgogi dish and toss it right on top of a salad, when I was keto.

Experiment. Too many cultures and foods in the world to just equate healthy with boring.

I don't eat especially healthy and I've always been thin/average weight :manny:

So I have to think a lot of it is genetic. I know plenty of obese people that I'm sure eat healthier than me (although IDK if they eat more or not).

Does seem like a lot of people get extremely self-righteous after changing up their diet though :skip:
