Everybody wants to be a billionaire and live this lavish, over the top lifestyle where one could afford anything and everything. Private jets, mansions, private islands, luxury clothing ect. ect. Then they have a few charities set up in their name (which they get paid off as well) to say that they "give back"
If you really think about all the problems in the world and how many people need help, then you have this one group of people who have amassed and hold enormous, truly ridiculous amounts of wealth that they themselves can never personally spend....how are these people not terrible. I used to read the Forbes billionaires list and think of how great these people must be until it recently dawned on me that these people are selfish. How can you have SO MUCH money and not spend enough of it to help others. I thought about that 100M check Floyd Mayweather posted that he's had for over a year not even cashed. So you mean to tell me you're already living super lavish with all the money you could ever spend in a lifetime, knowing people in your community are dying and you'd rather post a pic of the money instead of putting it into action and doing something with it???
And we're all lead to worship this mentality as if it's something to strive for and to be. Is there anything wrong with being wealthy and abundant? Absolutely not? I intend to make millions in my lifetime so my family and those after me and them can live well. But how much is too much and when does one stop collecting money just to say "look at me, i'm super rich?"
