When you think about it, games aren't really that expensive.

Exactly.

That's why I don't get all the bytchin about dlc prices

Everything else has went up in price due to inflation. Game prices haven't and the amount entertain you get versus other shyt like movies, going out etc.. Even a fukkin dinner costs 60 dollars now and that's for some restaurant

Before the Internet and all the information that's available to people to make decisions before buying, you used to buy shyt without really knowing if it was good then having to be stuck with that shyt playing it

I remember when I was kid getting my ma to buy a game for SNES or genesis here and there was iffy so if I got stuck with some garbage I had to play. Now people know what they're going to get and the price isn't that bad in comparison to everything else

It's very true, the amount of entertainment you get out of a good video game > any other value in entertainment.

I just copped Skyrim again after playing it for over 200 hours before, traded it in way back but bought a 360 again for real cheap, now i`m playing it again as a new character and still loving it.

When you think I only paid about $80 for my Skyrim experience when you consider the addons, shyt is insanse.

Also, if you bargain shop, you can cop shyt for real cheap. I just got Borderlands 2 off xbla for 6.50. That's less than a McD's value meal

i dont consider ppl who play MP only (all the time) gamers

I can sorta get down with this.

They're definitely gamers, but they're missing out on the real fun and they don't get the full artistic experience of what Video Games can be.

It's like going to a 5 star restaurant and ordering the same thing every single time, cooked in the same exact way.

I'm sorry, but you seem broke as fukk.

A great 8 hour experience @ $60 is only $7.5 an hour. It will be less than HALF that if you consider the fact that you can probably get rid of it for $40 shortly after if you bought it on DAY 1 physical.

People spend anywhere between $30-$40 on a 2 hour movie with their girl/wifes and not even including KIDS.

No its about relativity

Games offering an only 8 hr experience is no bueno u idiot

Games have brought about too much longevity for that price that paying the same price for only 8 hrs is :mjlol:

I rarely pay $60 for a game. I usually wait a bit and pick them up for $45ish but still $60 for a great game that gives me even 20 hours of entertainment is a great deal in my opinion relative to other forms of entertainment.
