I don’t understand the logic of women in their 40s and 50s who think they can compete with younger women in their 20s and early 30s as far as these types of men. They overwhelmingly prefer younger women. Wouldn’t be surprised if Game is in the DMs of several 22 year old IG models. He follows a bunch of them.

Evelyn made mistakes and had live a life reflective of that.
She had a daughter, and as an emotionally unhealthy woman, instead of dealing with her issues she resents the daughter she birthed because her child has a clean slate and a chance to do everything better than her.
Healthy parents want you to be better than them. Toxic parents say “well it happened to me so she can go thru it too”.
She’s young and beautiful and sweet. She could’ve easily gotten married if her mother simply taught her the game.
Instead, the woman who bagged an athlete in every league watched her daughter become a babymomma to an older man who is a felon.
Even though we can question some of the shyt she taught her child, you would NEVER see Marjorie Harvey let Lori get knocked up by some nikka like The Game!! He wouldn’t even have the chance to breathe the same air as Lori. Evelyn is jealous of her daughter so she never taught her the game.
I agree with your points but I still think women like Evelyn view younger women including her daughter as literal competition in the dating pool. They’re going after the same small pool of men. And let’s wait and see with Lori Harvey. She has a questionable reputation that will probably limit her dating pool in those circles but agreed she has been smart enough not to become a baby mama.
Eh. Lori will be fine as love as she looks for a serious partnership outside of entertainment.
And of course Ev sees younger women as competition.
The difference with attractive older women is you can still actually date and marry well IF you have your shyt together.
If Ev were a Latina version of Tracey Edmonds she would actually get respect from men and women.
Like if Eva Longoria got divorced tomorrow, she wouldn’t have an issue finding a new partner because she’s talented, established and beautiful.
Same for Jessica Alba. Divorced at 44 and ain’t nobody calling her old. She is still gorgeous and looks young, but more importantly she’s highly accomplished and regarded in multiple industries. She won’t have an issue finding someone new when she’s ready for something serious.
Ev never actually became a better woman. She has kept her looks up so she has no issue still attracting men. I’m sure she looks amazing in person; Game mentioned her looks continuously for a reason.
But she never elevated, so this is where she is.
Ev is just an old bird. She has her looks and nothing else. That is the problem.
Her ass should’ve transformed into whatever the fukk Carl wanted her to be and made that work.
Those women you named (Tracey Edmonds, Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba, etc) are still disadvantaged by their age. The men who are their top choices overwhelmingly choose women 10+ years younger than them. Yeah they have a better chance at finding a good partner than Evelyn but they either have to settle for a man 12+ years older than them who’s financially stable but less physically attractive or a man around their age who’s more attractive but not on their level financially. That’s the collective conundrum they face. They (including Evelyn) can get a man but it’s not the man they want.
And Lori Harvey is still a major TBD. Even if she dates outside of entertainment she’s still going to want a successful man and that reputation (eg dating both Diddy and his son) is a major barrier as far as the man she probably wants.

The average marriage AGE GAP in this country is FOUR YEARS.
When you attend events and actually observe many of these couples, these older divorced men of means aren’t all remarrying women who are 15yrs younger than them.
If we talking entertainment or something, definitely, but the average highly educated and successful man is pulling from women in his environment and circle.
Of the few 6-7 figure divorced men in my family, not one has seriously dated or married a woman who isn’t on his educational or economic level. The new women who have married into my family are fit and attractive Black attorneys who are over 45. And these are fit and attractive Black men with multiple degrees who picked them.
Lori’s issue is that she’s famous. Aside from that, college-aged girls all have their dating woes and stories. I still fully believe she should’ve locked down MBJ if possible, but that also makes me think that was PR because there ain’t no way she walked away from that unless something foul happened.
Her best bet would’ve been to lay low and pop up with some tech dude or successful entrepreneur.

It’s not age shaming. It’s just the reality of dating. Most older men of means are with women who are younger than themselves. And yes it’s heightened in the entertainment circles, but is a general reality. Most men of means in their 40s primarily pursue women in their 30s. Successful men in their 50s pursue women in their 40s.
And you’re pointing to outliers. The playboy playmate who married Robert Smith, Kim Kardashian marrying Kanye, etc. Those are the equivalent of lottery winners. Most men with real wealth are marrying women of wealth from their social circles. Lori Harvey comes from a well off family but not the elite type of family that most wealthy men who aren’t in sports or entertainment pick their wives from. Again I’m speaking to 99.9% of the time. And as far as strictly beauty, those men have access to women who look just as good as Lori Harvey and don’t bring the attention of being with a celebrity nor the alleged reputation. The vast majority of wealthy men don’t want that type of attention.
You just made my point for me. That’s correct. Majority of them aren’t marrying women 15yrs their junior with nothing going on. They’re mainly with women on their level, and those women are usually in the same age range.
My point is yea obviously a random 50yr old woman doesn’t have the same prospects as a random 25yr old, but the issue for a woman like Evelyn is not her age— it’s the fact that she’s literally a bird. Someone like Jessica Alba ain’t gon have noooooo problems in the man department.
If Ev were some HS principal looking like that attending conferences and events across her district/state she would have NO problem finding an educated man moving in similar circles.
Women like her missed the message. The whole point of this thread is that she has lived it so she knows better, but she literally let her daughter fall into the same trap as her. She raised her daughter to repeat the cycle because she is a horrible woman.
Never said the women they’re marrying don’t have anything going for them. Yeah those men prioritize women with something going for themselves, but they also still prioritize women younger than themselves. It’s rare to find a 55 year old man marrying another 55 year old woman. They’re more likely to marry a woman in her early to mid 40s. That’s the dynamic I’m referring to. Jessica Alba’s top choices as far as men are probably in her age range early to mid 40s but those men are going after women in their late 20s to early 30s. She could get a man in his mid to late 50s but she probably would prefer someone closer to her age.
