Some people who ride the bus do so because the commute to work is crazy. I live in Houston and the traffic here is ridiculous. I occasionally catch the bus/train to work in the medical center and I have two cars.
Whenever I see people at the Bus Stop, I can't help but think "jeez, what a bunch of LOSERS!"

I used to be a mover years ago and used to move people who stayed downtown and these people were paying ~$200+ a month just for a parking spot in an open lot

But my grandmother lives out in the 100s has a brand new cts-v with less than 5k miles on it siting in the garage ( my grandfathers, rip ) for years and doesn't have license and never needed one because she always caught the bus everywhere. She super caked up from being a retired nurse and getting my grandfathers pension

I live downtown with a garage but still walk everywhere no dui for me.
Because of my job, I ride the bus & subway for free.

Here you definitely need a car because the public transportation system is shyt. I have a car but I don't look down at the people riding the bus, because at one point I was riding it too just like them. Life can hit you hard, one day you can be laughing at them, the next day you could be right there with them.

In this area if you dont have to drive, life is so much easier.I love taking the bus and riding the train
If my car didn't decide to act a fool on me I would have never realized how much more awesome life is as a non driver. Nobody can ask me to take them anywhere or expect me to go anywhere. Don't have to worry about getting gas or fighting that DMV traffic.
