Story "ME1" is the best. Game play I'd say "ME3" is the best. "ME2" is the best over all.
"ME1" is a great looking game on PC but there was a lot more going on with the graphics in "ME2" and "ME3".

We reached the point where gamers are playing new games less and less. The term 'replay value w/o online play' is a lost art and a great single player game is
to many people. Makes sense on why JRPGs and platformers suffered the most in the last 6-7 years, outside of Mario and Sonic.

The cats in here saying graphics don't matter are hypocrites because if it didn't matter why'd you go out and buy a new console? 
You could've played the same game on PS3/360.
I've yet to hear of a game that got praised and was given a break due to graphics while it wasn't good at all. Nonsense. Graphics enhance a game. There is no "trade-off" where a dev says "HMM lets make this game the BEST LOOKING game ever FIRST!" and then as a result gameplay suffers. Some of the best games this past gen were games that were looking great.
