-_- Good thing that I woke up with an amazing mood!... You guys are sad...

We aren't trying to be sad though... and i'm not saying your wrong

Ok how about this.

Give me an example of a decision you've made recently (within the past year) that your heart and your head were in an argument over and tell me how it went down?

I can give you one, moving to Tulsa. It was the smart decision, but I left the only woman i've ever loved in Dallas. Do I regret it? No, cuz I got more money and more work experience then I've ever had before :yeshrug:

Now when i come back to dallas, I'll be worth much more :yeshrug:

If I stayed for her, I might have held it against her, I might have resented her, etc etc.

Follow your head alwyas, your heart will make you broke:umad:

It was your heart that told you to move to Tulsa cause it's what you really wanted to do. Your mind just added and impulsed your decision with logic and facts.

Following your heart doesn't have to be about love choices only. It works for everything and it doesn't work by itself either. You must use your head in every decision you make too, but at the end of the day, if you don't do it with your heart it won't go as well as it could.

To answer to your question:
I'll tell you an example of what you asked and I can give you one of the opposite: (Times where I wish I had follow my heart instead of my "mind")

- When choosing career. (I love acting but I decided to study air traffic controller instead because it's considered a "Real career" and the chances of really making it as an actor are less.
Now I am halfway to finish the air traffic controller academy but I feel like it's not what I wanna do with my life.
I'll enroll in acting classes next semester.

- My Job. I had the opportunity of joining one of the best customer service teams and be their supervisor like 2 or 3 months ago. I was going to have good benefits, a decent salary etc... Instead I decided to partner with 2 friends and start our own thing from home. Just cause I had a hunch and decided to follow it.
Right now we have hired 19 employees in the past 2 months and we are in out way for something very good!.

As I said... Think logically but don't ignore your heart when it tells you to do certain things.

That's the message that I want to transmit to you guys...

Nice vid! I just don't like terminology.

It's all mind. Reason and emotions originate in the mind. Minds get conditioned, sometimes in a positive way, sometimes in a negative way.

That fight is your attempt to overcome that positive/negative conditioning, analyzing (logic/reason) what you think you know, feel or believe (emotion/instinct).

No Trust me, I didn't want to go anywhere. I wanted to stay with my girl. But I knew that it wasn't the wise decision.

As for your examples, you gave good examples. It paid off for you, but it could have easily backfired.

I can only speak for myself, but I know how I get when shyt backfires.
I know how angry I get at myself for not going with the sure thing.

Some people get mad when they don't follow their heart

I get mad when I don't follow my head

People instinctively follow their desires, whether they realize it or not. People think they are logical. They aren't.

The smarter and more diligent the person, the more they analyze when appropriate. The duller and lazier the person, they more the rely on emotion when inappropriate.
