'95 was nuts.

Me Against The World and Safe & Sound was the only shyt I bumped that summer.Had that E 40 In A Major Way on deck, to.Sprinkle Me was like the hood anthem on my block.Niccaz lost they minds to that shyt.

Had my Adina Howard poster on the wall...Penny Hardaway jersey....didn't have to worry about nothing but my lil summer job.....bought the new Grant Hills.....bumping Subway ft 702 "This Lil Game We Play" trying to get freaky with my girlfriend(and it worked:wow:).....Summer '95 brehs:mjcry:

Love
It is a great album, I had that CD in my old cart. Gotta dig it out of some boxes and put it in my new car, I've got a great system now.

I heard that statement before. but I don't buy it.

:patrice:

Dre sampled and was influnced by Pfunk way more than Quik was.

Quik was just more focused on recreating the musicality of his influences rather than just molding them into gangsta rap. Plus his influences stretched beyond Pfunk.

really though, it was epmd before the both of them with the funk samples and as far as the west coast goes, it was shock g before dre and quik with the funk

shock g as a west coast artist really came through with them funk (among many other samples from hendrix to donna summer) samples on sex packets
