People only got pissed about the benching because it sucks for us, as fans.

Imagine shelling out $100-200+ to sit lower bowl at any venue for any team of your choice, and have either the visiting or home team sit their star playerS. Multiple star players, not just one.

Diminishes the product for us as fans and makes you wonder why the fukk you're paying ridiculously inflated prices if.....

Boo fukking hoo. You paid for a sporting event where real people make real decisions and who aren't concerned with with entertainin you. You wanted something guaranteed, go see a play or a movie. There actors won't change.

I'm just pointing out why people, and the NBA Headquarters, cared so much about those players getting benched. Has nothing to do with the Spurs, as the quoted poster stated, and everything to do with protecting the efficacy of the NBA's "product," whether right or wrong.
