Miami Heat Reportedly Signing NBA Champion
Story by Ben Stinar • 1h ago
Thomas Bryant is coming off a season where he played for both the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets (he was
traded in February from the Lakers to the Nuggets).
The former Indiana Hoosier finished the year with averages of 9.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest while shooting 62.3% from the field and 44.1% from the three-point range.
On Saturday afternoon,
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the
Miami Heat will sign Bryant to a two-year deal.
Via Wojnarowski: "Free agent Thomas Bryant has agreed on a two-year, $5.4 million deal with the Miami Heat, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Zach Kurtin of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Player option on second year."
The Nuggets won the NBA Championship over the Heat, so Bryant is now joining another elite team.
