I've never played it so I can't say for sure but from what I've been hearing is it has that simple, addictive, instant gratification that cod has.
If this released on all platforms then this could have very well outsold battlefield with a sequel. Maybe not cod, but people are tired of cod and are waiting for that replacement, it's a matter of time and the right game, I think titanfall could be that game. It will just take a little longer now since A lot of people won't jump on till the sequel.
