I think palestinians have chosen a bad option and making bad decisions chasing after a closing window of options.

They should take the “bad” deals ahead of them and accept the lands offered to them by Arab leaders.

This is actually an important point. HAMAS took all the hostages because they know Israel cares more about their people than they (HAMAS) do about their own. My opinion would have been to delay the ground invasion until a lot more hostages were released but I'm not in power.

If Israel obliterates parts of Gaza, HAMAS will think twice before taking hostages next time.
The HAMAS tactics of taking hostages to delay bombardment have backfired....At this point Bibi might charge the hostages to the war. He will ensure HAMAS doesn't pull this move in a LONG time.
