I remember listening to Ali Vegas and 50 on the radio freestyling together back in 1999/2000 and Vegas literally mopped the floor with 50 lyrically
When 50 blew up and he didn't that's when I realized talent wasn't everything (not saying 50 isn't talented, because he most certainly is, but IMO Vegas was just a better 'emcee')
Simply being 'nice" doesn't always translate into success
