Unless you're clearly getting a better quality of material there's ZERO reason to buy expensive clothes from these places.
I work in the retail industry and trust me majority of this stuff is ripping you off. The markup % is astronomical.
I'll co-sign a few places for making quality goods. I still have Abercrombie stuff I bought over 10 years ago that I can still wear and there's nothing wrong with it. The price might be high, but their clothing is top notch.
These days, I shop at Kohls, H&M for certain stuff(some of their stuff feels cheap), a few other places when I see something I like. If you know how to dress, are in good shape, and know how to present urself, you can wear a nice shirt, some cheap jeans, nice shoes and look better than ppl who spent 3 times as much as you did.
You guys in here bragging about spending $100 on a single shirt, more power to you.
