Where are you from and do you still live there? If not do you prefer your new locale?

Southern California…
From Inglewood, Ca

Left home after college and lived in Culver City for some years working and paying high ass rent

My grandparents passed away and left me there house in Long Beach… nice neighborhood with a lot of black older neighbors who keep their yard clean

However my dad passed away and with my mom being older, I decided to work from her and my dad house in Inglewood so I can help out..

Born in Greensboro, NC. My parents were both attending A&T at the time, and had me while in school. Grew up in Winston Salem, NC and Biloxi, MS. My folks are still in MS, and the rest of my fam is back in Winston, but I live in the Atlanta area.

Im ok with living here. I’ve started my family here, and I’ve also got a solid network out here. I’ve built a home, and built a decent life here, so I can’t complain. I will end up back in NC, though. Gotta get my baby girl through school, then my ole lady and I heading back to Carolina.

From Queens / Long Island moved to Boston 12 years ago. Agree that Boston is a cleaner smaller, a lot of successful young people here gives it a good energy sometimes. But the money divide is big.
Yeah the money divide is up there.

One saturday I went to a street market thing in Dorchester or Roxbury? to hang with a girl I was talking to. You could tell tax money was not circulating much around there, the roads were bad, and houses reminded me of BX lol. Not terrible but the atmosphere was not exactly "luxury". Anyway the event was a lot smaller than I expected and not much else around. My old coworkers asked me to come thru for weekend bbq. It was in a high rise in seaport only 20 min away. There was an infinity pool over looking both sides and everyone was so young for the money it took to live in a place like that. In NYC it's an older crowd but not in Boston. 5500 monthly for a 1br is a big divide.

I’m from Upstate NY

Raised in New Rochelle aka “Queen of Sound”. It’s safer compared to Mount Vernon. Downtown is dry af ever since they removed “Fun Fuzion” out of New Roc City. We have diverse ethnic restaurants in different vicinities. There’s beaches, parks and trail if you’re looking for a lust of nature. Avoid Ward Acres unless you tryna tumble with some Coyotes:pachaha:

Moved to Baltimore for school in my early 20’s. The streets of Baltimore reminded me of 90’s Brooklyn - raw and gritty. Had a culture shock when I seen how rundown some parts of the cities. It was depressing as hell:picard:.

Had fun though, it was my college years.

I deadass want to move to Atlanta.

Lived in New Rochelle as a kid (ages 3 to 8), first memories are from there.

I don't really have a place I'm "from", I was born in Belgium, then lived in the US, then in CAR, then in France, all by the age of 18. Currently in France again, some good and some bad stuff as everywhere else I guess.

I live in the seaport, exactly what you’re saying. Young people with money that I didn’t see as much of in nyc. Lol I know the rooftop you talking about, I think Ora was the building.

From Virginia Beach.

Spent the last year in Charlotte, recently came to Raleigh; likely temporarily. A lot of growth and opportunities here, but I'm open to going anywhere with opportunity.

You lived in New Rochelle deadass?! Ayee you got a taste of New York :blessed:

Your traveling experience gave you one hell of a life.

What places do you prefer out of the most? France? Belgium? Central African Republic?

I always felt like if I visited Europe, I'll get a lot of love being from the states.
