My teams so far this year :

NHL/ Maple Leafs : they are bad and boring to watch so far. I know we’re still in October but they are painful to look at overall. Their coach is a boring retread, they look slow, old and soft with poor team chemistry and execution. Their best years might be behind them. Depressing to think about it. They are not a cohesive unit. I know Mitch Marner is talented and was a huge part of the team for the last 8 seasons , it will be hard to replace him, because he was a great first line offensive winger with vision, hockey elite playmaking skills and solid defensive acumen( he was employed on the first unit on the penalty kill for so many years) but he had to go for many obvious reasons. He worn out his welcome here. He didn’t have the heart, compete levels and grit to perform and succeed in the playoffs .As a person, he seems to have entitlement issues, passive aggressive personality, victim mentality and Zero self awareness as well ´. What a waste of a era, what a shame.

NBA/Raptors. So far they are so good and fun to watch. Aggressive and intense pace in the transition, they played well on defense (especially with rebounding) , and they scored in so many different ways(3-point shooting, midrange and especially around the rim and inside the paint, they didn’t rely on the 3-point shot that much last night. They didn’t settle for half court and perimeter offense at all. ). Scoring came from everyone, very balanced offensive contribution, no top heavy shyt. They were great at offensive/defensive rebounding, they attacked the rim, and drew fouls with their pace, effort and playmaking/ passing inside the paint. Their bench looks good (.Sandro Mamukelashvili, Jamison Battle Jonathan Mogbo, Jamal Shead, Gradey dikk)

I know the season just started but they look promising and exciting already . If he continues to play the same way he did last night, Gradey dikk might be the 6th man of the year this season. He had 21 points and 5 rebounds coming off the bench, he didn’t had primary assists though.

MLB/Blue Jays : they are both so good and so fun to watch. They’re both a winning and entertaining team. They will host Game 1 of the World Series tomorrow night against the LA Dodgers at home . What a resilient, gritty and inspiring squad with a never say die attitude. It’s hard for opponents to strike them out at the plate and on the field ( both figuratively and literally). They have players who are both good with bats and good with gloves. They are not the team with the most talent in every area , but the Jays are an excellent, balanced, hard-working, technically sound old-school team with great plate discipline, visual/spatial/situational awareness, baseball intelligence, good pitch awareness/ judgment, and sound fundamentals who grind opposing teams/pitchers down on offense and have just enough steady pitching to win games. They have good team chemistry and execution. They know how to get the ball in play, get on bases often, and get the most out of their at bat presences.

Arsenal : so far they are good and fun to watch. They’re currently leading the premier league! They might finally win the PL this year since 2003-04.

As a casual fan of football at most , the NFL is the sports league I follow the least (I make sure to always watch the playoffs though, it’s a great entertainment product ) but since my city doesn’t have a team, I’m not as invested as much compared to the other sports. I need a local team to give me a rooting interest in this league. I can’t get deep into the nfl sadly because of this. And I think the probability of a NFL expansion to Toronto is very low already. If it ever happens, everyone here will be dead anyway. I know the Toronto argonauts/the CFL won’t be happy about this. They will never allow it to happen. I think the nfl and the cfl have a secret handshake agreement when it comes to this.

Saints: Bad, broken, and rebuilding :unimpressed:

On the Rebuilding/contending scale
Promising/depressing scale
Positive/negative scale
Ugly/beautiful scale
Bad/good scale
Fun/boring scale
Sick/healthy scale

Your new Orléans saints in 2025-26 are a bad, depressing, negative, ugly, boring, sick and rebuilding team. Truly a Bottom tier squad with all the negatives and none of the positives..the saints are firmly in sports hell.
That’s kinda a lot to read
Try a little harder. Your attention span is not completely ruined yet. You can focus and manage read my entire post.

NFL: Colts are :gladbron: I admit that I completely wrote off this season when they named DJ QB1. I did not like anything I saw from him on the Giants, his 2025 performance is an indictment on that organization. Chris Ballard has earned himself some grace, this team really was a QB away. The offense with AR and DJ is quite literally day and night. I really can't wait to see the noise we make in the playoffs.

NBA: Sixers :unimpressed: Embiid is being brought along slowly, Maxey is balling out, PG is a lame and the rest are making due for now. I'll see them on Saturday against the Hornets but they have a LOT to prove this season. I'm done having my heart ripped out by believing in this team only for them to get shyt on in the playoffs.
