Lol....oh You really wanna do this?? A cheese steak is a cheese steak, a chopped cheese is a chopped cheese. Two separate sandwiches...one is flat steak, the other is chopped meat...they're not prepared the same, different seasoning , ingredients, and the only similarities are the toppings but even that depends on where you go.. no one is adding cheese wiz to a chopped cheese..Yes, it actually is.

Just had a white house cheesesteak here in AC....bread supposed to be soft from the grease with a nice chew to itSounds like a steak hoagie with no Ribeye.
Complex did a comparison and made sure to use a dellesandro's plain steak vs a "hoagie" version of the chopped cheese.
Cacs loved the chopped cheese

A chopped cheese is basically imitating a cheesesteak but the ground beef is cheaper than using ribeye steaks.
They're prepared the same way as well...
So they start by grilling the meat,adding some salt ,chopping the meat ,then adding in the cheese , and then onions or whatever...
It's prepared like a cheesesteak but it's just made with cheaper meat and lower quality rolls.

This is the problem, basing your comparison off youtube. If something is "like" something else then that means it's not the same . The season, preparation is different and if something has a taste that is specific to that region, then there's no comparison to another type of sandwich. That's what makes it unique..And chill with talk about the lack of quality ingredients....go to Subway for a sandwich if you want cheap tasting food..
