Nah that's literally what it is.This is the problem, basing your comparison off youtube. If something is "like" something else then that means it's not the same . The season, preparation is different and if something has a taste that is specific to that region, then there's no comparison to another type of sandwich. That's what makes it unique..
And chill with talk about the lack of quality ingredients....go to Subway for a sandwich if you want cheap tasting food..

That's like comparing McDonald's and Burger King to an authentic gourmet burger (with the chopped cheese being the gourmet burger). It's not going to taste the same bc it's not the same !!!! Because it's not going to be prepared, seasoned and cooked in the same way. Different ingredients make up the sandwich. The structure of the sandwich is different..stop with this literal comparison. If you went into burger king and they give you a big Mac instead of a whopper, you would look at them crazy bc it's a different sandwich...sheeessh,what don't u get about that???

The Philly cheesesteak would be the world reknowned nearly 100 year old item being copied everywhere from Toronto to Harlem, even subway has a version.

Low quality ground beef. Inferior in comparison to FRIZZLED, CHOPPED, AND SEPARATED RIBEYE. Common grocery store "hero" bread, inferior to Amarosa bread.
